Quick Turnaround – Big Impact

  • Klondike's Student Destination

Planned, designed and constructed in less than 10 months, The Collaborative helped Ohio Northern University transform a faculty and staff dining room into a vibrant, modern lounge space for students. The 1800 square foot space features polished concrete floors, waterfall countertops, slate-tile accent walls and seating options for 45. With two pool tables, a dozen TVs and the existing café next door, students can eat, study and hang out until midnight every day.

  • The Oscar J. and Judith D. Mifsud Collaborative Learning Center

Ohio Northern is breaking library norms with a renovated space specifically designed for teamwork, innovation and collaboration. This 21st century learning environment brings students together in a comfortable space, supported by technology, flexible furniture, food and coffee.

The first-floor revitalization supports flexible thinking, conversation and dialogue. Students feel at home in the space and come to study for both group projects and individual work. Glass study rooms allow for team work sessions while open spaces promote more casual interactions.
