Sylvania, Ohio Lourdes University and The Collaborative Inc completed a comprehensive Campus Master Plan, outlining campus construction for the next decade. One initiative born out of the master plan is the new 38,000 SF McAlear Hall / Delp Hall.
The Collaborative Inc designed the McAlear building to fit within the campus’ unique architectural context. The historically sensitive design incorporates modern technology, including building-wide wireless access and provisions for security monitoring.
The 12,000 square foot Ebeid Student Center, located on the lower level, includes game room, computer stations, TV lounge, dining area, and stage for entertainment.
The new building embodies the philosophies of the Sisters of St. Francis, who value environmental stewardship. McAlear & Delp Halls utilize a geothermal HVAC system and daylighting controls to reduce the depletion of our natural resources.
