A multi-purpose destination, the David & Carol Lackland Center is a gathering place for students and community members.

Hackettstown, New Jersey  This new 75,000 SF building at Centenary College serves many important functions for the campus: as a Student Center; as a Performing Arts Center; and as an educational and conference facility. Situated on the southern edge of campus, the Student/Performing Arts Center marks a new gateway for the College.

Designed to allow for easy access, the first floor of Lackland houses the more public functions. A new dining room that seats over 400 students, a cafe and kitchen, and private dining room occupy a portion of the first level, with the Performing Arts Center (PAC) located in the remainder of the main floor. The PAC includes a 500-seat theater, a 125-seat black-box theater, dance studio, dressing rooms, a scene shop, and departmental and faculty offices.

Located on the second floor is the Communications Department. A public radio station and TV studio, editing rooms, music library, and faculty offices occupy this level, together with classrooms and the College board room.
