Adrian, Michigan The new 33,000 SF University Center consolidates student services and activities previously scattered around campus. The new facility includes campus dining, bookstore, One-Stop-Shop (including Financial Aid, Admissions, etc), Student Activities Offices, student organization offices, International Student Office, Dean of Students, campus ministry, and others. The design includes sustainable elements, and is targeting LEED Silver Certification.
The Collaborative and Siena Heights are also planning site improvements, including a new campus entry, new parking, and a future north campus access drive. The design team is also exploring conceptual designs for renovating existing campus core landscape into a pedestrian-friendly green space. Plans call for relocating asphalt service drives and developing natural stormwater drainage swales.
